My Love You Are Worth It All

 

Sally is sitting on the living room floor in the corner crying. She was looking a the knife that was in the coffee table. “I’m ugly and I’m not worth it. No one cares about me. No one likes me. No one loves me. Everyone always puts me down! Why? What did I do? I’m fat. My hair isn’t perfect. She thought to herself. That only made her cry even harder! “I’m not worth it! Why am I even alive!” She shouts. “I don’t want to kill myself but I’m better off dead then alive. No one would miss me!” She said.

At that very moment there was a knock at the door. She just sat there. They knocked again. Still she didn’t get up. Again they knocked! She got up and opened the door. A man stood there with a  very concerned  look on his face! “I heard you shouting, so I though I would come and see if you are okay. Have you been crying?” He ask. “No I’m NOT okay. People tell me I’m ugly. They tell me I’m fat. They tell me I’m better off dead then alive!” “May I come in?” She stepped aside and let him in. As he walked in he saw that it was dark. The blinds were drowned and there little light coming from them. As he looked around the room, he saw that there was a knife on the table. He looked at her and said, “Sally do you want to talk about it?” She nodded and they sat on the couch.

“I’m no good to anyone! I’m fat and ugly.” She said. “No your not. Your soul is precious.” He said. “Your just saying that. I’m better off dead then alive.” “No your NOT! I love you more then you will ever know!” “No you don’t.” Sally said with hurt in her eyes. “Yes I do. I gave my life for you! I gave it so you could live!” She just looked at him with confusion on her face. “You see 2,000 years ago I died for you! I took 39 strips for you! I took the crown of thorn on my head for you! Every hurtful thing you have heard or felt I took it for you! You see I made you and I think that you are perfect. As far as no one missing you, your family would! You think that killing yourself would solve everything. It doesn’t, it makes it harder on your family. They love you and would miss you! They care just like me!” With that he put his hand on her shoulder and said, “I love you!” He spoke with so much love! His eyes, the only thing I could see was love! “Invite me in and I’ll show you love like you have never seen or felt before!”

With that he kissed her forehead and got up to leave. She stood up and turned around. “Wait” she yelled. “What is your name?” “It’s Jesus!” He said with a smile! When she turned around she saw that the knife was gone. There was a book in it’s place. She picked it up. It was a Bible! She just sat there stunted! After a few minutes she got up and opened the blinds. She stood there and opened the Bible! There was something written on the first page. It said, “My Love You Are Worth It All!” Under that was written John 3:16-17. She found it in the Bible. It was highlighted.  She read it aloud. ”16) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (NKJV)” After she read it she looked up! She saw that the suns rays had made a cross in the sky! JESUS saved Sally from making the wrong choice!

Have you heard of the group “One Direction?” If not, they are a singing group. Four boys from England and one from Ireland. There names are Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan , Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, and Liam Payne. Well a few weeks ago I read something that got me thinking.

At one of the “One Direction” concert when Niall was singing his solo part a “fan” yelled out, “Niall your ugly and you don’t deserve to be in One Direction.” Niall heard what he said and handed his mic to Louis to sing the rest of his part. Zayn walked over and Niall buried his head on Zayn’s shoulder and just cried. Zayn hugged him through the rest of the song. After the song was over the whole group took a break and walked back stage to calm Niall down. When they finally came back on stage Niall was still upset and whipping tears from his face.

People keep telling Niall that his is ugly so much that he believes it. People tell him that the group is better with out him. It really hurts him. He has looking into the mirror and told that his ugly.

When I read this I remembered what happened to Harry. When ”One Direction” first came out, they were performing on “Red and Black.” Harry didn’t take in enough air to sing his solo part on their song “What Makes You Beautiful.” He felt really bad. Watch this video:

 

Now words are VERY POWERFUL!!!!!! If it hurts Niall to hear someone yell out that he’s ugly and read it all the time. If Harry can get hurt by reading BAD comments. The words can hurt!!!!!!

Now GOD gave Harry and Niall their sing voice, them playing instruments and all their other gifts. Don’t you think that we should NOT put them down? Do you know the saying, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me?” It should go like this, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can hurt me the most.” Words bring life or they bring death. Words are very POWERFUL!!!!!!!!!!

GOD created every member of “One Direction.” HE loves them, HE died for them, HE has given them their talents and HE hurts when someone puts them down!!!!!!!

So if any of us can’t say anything nice about anyone. Let us NOT say anything at all!!!!!!!!
